When you sign up for a Montage account, you’ll be taken to your first Portfolio Dashboard where you can begin creating designs. If you’re part of multiple Portfolios, you’ll have additional, separate Dashboards for each Portfolio.
The Dashboard allows you to access to create and view your designs, browse templates, access the Help Center, and connect with our team – all in one place.
You can switch between your Portfolios using the Portfolio dropdown menu, located in the upper left of the Dashboard.
To create a new Montage design, click the New design button in the upper right of your Dashboard. You can choose to create with a blank Workspace, where you can design and develop from scratch, or start with a template if you prefer.
You can organize sites in your Dashboard with preset sort options, move them into folders, or search for them using the search bar. You can also switch your Dashboard view to list sites instead of using thumbnails.
By default, your designs are sorted by Date created. You can also sort them in Alphabetical order, or by Last modified.
You can also organize your designs within folders in your Dashboard. You can create a folder by clicking the “ Create folder” icon and giving the new folder a name.
You can move your design into a folder from the design menu:
You can delete a folder at any time by opening the folder and clicking the “trash” icon.
When you delete a folder, all sites within that folder move to All designs in the main area of your Portfolio Dashboard.
You can switch your Dashboard between cards or list items by clicking the "List view" or “Grid” toggle at the top right corner of the Dashboard.
In your Dashboard, each design is represented by a card (or thumbnail) and some key details. For instance, each site displays its given file name and how many modules are a part of that design.
To open your design in the Visual Designer, simply click the card.
For list view click the “Edit” button within the list item.
You can click the “more options” dots within a design card to access the design menu. From this menu you can:
Card images are automatically generated for your sites in your Dashboard, which updates each time you save changes to your design.
